RECORD OF VETERAN’S DISCHARGES Act 83 of 1867 §35.32 County clerk to record and index discharges from armed forces; discharge records confidential; persons entitled to copies of discharge records; compensation to clerk; sworn statement as to discharges recorded. Sec. 2. The military services discharge records of a person shall be confidential and may be viewed or copied only by the veteran, a person with the veteran’s permission, or the surviving heirs of a veteran.
