The District Court is a limited jurisdiction court. The Court has jurisdiction of criminal misdemeanors, civil cases in which the amount in dispute is $25,000.00 or less, traffic violations, other civil infractions, landlord-tenant disputes, and small claims matters.   


YOU MAY PAY YOUR TRAFFIC TICKET OR COURT FINES BY CREDIT CARD by using the Government Payment Services website. 


Money Orders and Cashiers Checks are accepted through the mail, and should be made payable to "84th District Court."  Payments for traffic fines must be received within 20 calendar days from the date the ticket was issued, or late fees will be assessed.

Careless Driving                    $170.00

Disobey Stop Sign                $110.00

Disobey Traffic Signal            $110.00

Expired Registration              $80.00

Failed to Yield (Accident)       $125.00
