Major duties and responsibilities of the Wexford County Drain Commissioner:

• Regulate water levels of Lakes Cadillac and Mitchell according to Circuit Court Order number 565
• Record lake levels for Lakes Cadillac and Mitchell
• Maintain and regulate Clam River Dam
• Maintain 17 established County Drains
• Water quality characterization of area lakes
• Record monthly water levels of several area lakes
• Member of Board of Public Works
• Member of Lake Mitchell Improvement Board
• Member of Cadillac Well Head Protection Board
